Welcome to Oklahoma College of Court Reporting!

Oklahoma College of Court Reporting is owned by L&B Education, Inc. and our home office is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Our school is owned and operated by Larry & Susan Narvaez. Susan has been a licensed court reporting for 35 years. Larry has operated the school for over 25 years.

We are the oldest and most established court reporting school in the Midwest. We have been training court reporters since 1994 and have licensed hundreds of new reporters to work in Oklahoma and surrounding states.

Students will be working with live instructors each day using Zoom/Skype platforms.   For the past 25 years we have been devoted to educating steno court reporting students exclusively.  We have set ourselves out as one of the leaders of court reporting training in the entire Midwest.  Our training materials have been used around the country since 1998.

Through recent changes in our industry, we are now training captioners and CART (computer assisted real-time translation) providers to fill the growing need in the television and internet fields as well as CART in colleges and high school campuses.

Our mission at Oklahoma College of Court Reporting is to produce highly skilled court reporters, captioners and CART providers for today’s fast growing industries.   We can provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to become successful court reporters and captioners in many areas of television, internet and providing handicap assistance to our citizens.

Your Instructors

Larry Narvaez, CVR, CDVS

Larry is responsible for day-to-day operations of the school. Larry has assisted over a dozen court reporting firm owners in 6 states with opening new court reporting/captioning schools.

He currently serves as a board member for the state licensing board for private adult education in his home state of Oklahoma.

Susan Narvaez, CSR

Susan is responsible for our mentoring and intern programs as well as speedbuilding.

She has worked as a freelance and official reporter since 1982. She obtained her national RPR certification in 1996.
